Any suggestions?

So here's my current quilt, the one for G's wedding (the picture is pre-basting, and is not stellar):

My question now is, how should I quilt it?

Two principles to keep in mind:

1. Its "due date" is July 12. That's now officially less than two weeks away.
2. On the other hand, I'm on vacation, and can devote a fair bit of time to this in the next two weeks.

Any suggestions?

A quick quilt.

Here is a quick quilt that doesn't involve patchwork. It's all about the combo!
The geometric print is flannel.











I don't know if you can see the quilting. This one I did with that upholstery thread I like so much; however, it's a bit slick (it's made of nylon) and I hope that it doesn't slip out. I made big stitches -- can you see the stitching? It's gray...maybe if you click on the close-up you will see.
